The Mother Esther Story

​In the 1980s Grandmother Esther was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in one of the largest hospitals in New York City. After long night shifts, Esther would bring home special soap packets that she would cut open and drain in bottles for her grandchildren to use. This would be the introduction to Castile Soap. 40 years later Esther’s grandchildren carry on the tradition with their little ones. Castile Soap has become a part of the household.  One of the grandchildren set off to produce a special version of the soap using only the gentlest of ingredients. Hence, Mother Esther’s soap brand was born. Unfortunately, Esther passed away in early 2020 but her legacy lives on.
